They also confuse operational staff and corrupt total spend reporting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most common reason for duplicates appearing in the vendor file is that the supplier has changed the name; consequently, it was not found when the same supplier was requested under the new name. Therefore, another record was created.
